Spicy Chicken Biryani

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Water
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 Medium Onion Sliced
  • 700  gms Chicken
  • ½ Cup Cooking Oil
  • 2-3 Green cardamom
  • 2 Black cardamom
  • ½ tsp Black peppercorns
  • 5-6 Cloves
  • 2-3 Cinnamon stick
  • 2-3 Bay leaves
  • 1 & ½ tbsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tbsp Red chili powder or to taste
  • ½ tbsp Garam masala powder
  • 1 tbsp Black pepper powder
  • 2 Medium Tomatoes Choopped
  • ½ cup Yogurt whisked
  • ½ cup Fresh coriander Chopped
  • ½ Cup Mint leaves Chopped
  • 3-4 Medium Green chilies
  • 8-9 Dried plums
  • 1 Medium Onion Fried
  • 700 gms Rice basmati (soaked & boiled until 3/4)
  • 1 tbsp Biryani masala
  • 1- 2 medium Lemon slices
  • 2 tbsp Kewra water
  • ½ tbsp Yellow food color as Required
