  • Marinate chicken with yogurt, tomato puree, onion, ginger/garlic, red chillies, turmeric, black cumin, both hot spices food color and salt; set aside for 2 hours.
  • Heat oil in a pot; add green chillies, curry leaves and cumin; fry; add chicken and cook till tender.
  • Fry chicken; dish out; garnish with mint and green chillies.

Tomato puree                                        2 tbsp

Onion (fried and ground)                     ½ cup

Ginger/garlic paste                               1 tbsp

Red chilli powder                                  2 tsp

Turmeric powder                                  ½ tsp

Cumin seeds

(Roasted and Powdered)                    1 tsp

Hot spices powder                               1 tsp

Orange food color                                1 pinch

Whole hot spices                               1 tbsp

Curry leaves                                       12

Green chillies (finely cut)                 6

Black cumin seeds                             1 tsp

Salt                                                       1 ½ tsp

Oil                                                         ½ cup

Mint, green chillies                            for garnishing
