- Make gashes on chicken pieces with a sharp knife.
- Heat oil in a wok; fry chicken golden. Remove.
- Add remaining ingredients except ginger in same wok; fry thoroughly for 10 minutes.
- Add tikkas; keep on dum.
- Add ginger just before dishing out; serve.
