You do not need to go out to look for such tasty and expensive food. Here we are sharing the best Anda Kofta Recipe in Urdu.

Preparation time: 30-45 minutes

Serving: 5 persons


  • Qeema                                   1 kg
  • Ginger and Garlic paste      1 tablespoon
  • Salt                                         as per taste
  • Onion                                     2 (better to have chopped)
  • Red chilies                            1 tablespoon
  • Green chilies                        3 – 4
  • Fresh cilantro                        as required
  • Bread slices                          2
  • Eggs                                       9 (boiled)
  • Basen                                     4 tablespoon
Ingredients For gravee
  • Onion                                     2 finely chopped
  • Ginger and Garlic                 1 tablespoon (paste)
  • Salt                                         as per taste
  • Red chili                                1 tablespoon
  • Dried Coriander                    1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder                  ½ tablespoon
  • Zeera                                      1 tablespoon
  • Garam masala                      1 tablespoon
  • Yogurt                                    1 cup
  • Cooking oil                            ½ cup
For garnishing:
  • Green chilies                        3 – 4
  • Fresh cilantro                        finely chopped as per taste 


  • Mix all the spice in qeema and grind it 2 times in a chopper.
  • Now add 1 egg finely in all the mixture and refrigerate it for 15-20 minutes for marinating.
  • Hard boil the other 8 eggs
  • Now spread the mixture around the eggs. You can even use thread to fix it on eggs. Refrigerate it again till the gravei gets ready.
Recipe for gravei:
  • Take a frying pan and pour some cooking oil in it.
  • Fry all the garam masala in it on a low heat. After 4 – 5 minutes, add onion and fry till golden brown.
  • Mix all the spices of gravei in yogurt and pour in the pan and fry till the oil and gravei gets spread.
  • Now add some water in it
  • Add kofty after a boil
  • Do not cover it with lid and let the water get dried.
  • Use a piece of cloth to shake the pan 2 or 3 times.
  • When all the water get dried, add 1 more cup of water in it and boil for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add green chilies and fresh cilantro
  • Cook for more 5- 7 minutes.
  • The delicious kofty are ready to serve.
  • Put kofty in a serving dish very carefully and cut them in long shape.
